Five Faves As I Transition to Fall
So many people are rocking their sweaters + boots with their pumpkin spice lattes in hand, and I’m ALMOST ready to join them… ALMOST, but not quite! I love summer, but fall means we’re getting closer to the holidays which means (normally, but you never know when you live in LA) colder months and celebrating with my little family!
I thought it'd be fun to share five of my favorite things as I (slowly) transition my wardrobe and life (ha!) to fall. Here goes:
1. Pullover Crew-Neck Sweater $49
I'll call this the everything sweater. It's the perfect piece for my everyday, simplistic mama style. It can be paired with your favorite jeans or knit skirt. I know I'll be rocking it all fall long!
Here's a scented candle by Trish McEvoy I've been obsessed with forever! Really, I love it all year round... but it does feel most right for the cozy feels of fall. I'm not into the super sweet smells of pumpkin or apple, and this scent is mild and perfect.
3. Shirt Dress $132
Sure it's meant to be a swim coverup and I may use it for what it is next summer, but I've been wearing this one as a top. The color is called Barefoot and you know I love my nudes. This will be a staple over my favorite tanks this fall. Because even though it's fall, LA is sunny and hot a lot, so this'll be an easy coverup to layer with and take off when the sun peaks out.
4. Adidas Ultraboost Sneakers $180
I don't know why I didn't buy these sooner! They’re lightweight, super comfy, and I can run in them! Plus, I love the look of a clean white sneaker especially paired with an all black ensemble… and anyone who knows me knows that at least half my closet is made up of black pieces.
5. Yogi Tea, Breathe Deep $20
I love tea! I don’t drink coffee. If you’re curious, I wrote a whole blog about my love affair with tea. I love this tea by Yogi, especially in colder months. It’s made with soothing eucalyptus and warming spices for a naturally spicy-sweet flavor, the perfect blend. It's caffeine free too so I'm able to enjoy it in the evenings during some ME time before bed.
Mamas… you’ve seen my list, now I want you to pick your own 5 Fall Faves and indulge! Pick things that give you a sense of self-care because before you know it the holidays will be here and so will the stress that comes with them. Pick things that will help reduce the stress and make you happy… you deserve to treat yourself!
