It Starts with a Basic Invite
Is it just me or does it feel like summer is the peak season for celebrating mamas-to-be and new bundles of joy? I would say it gives me baby fever, BUT I'm good for now, thanks ha! Having two boys ages 3 and 1 who are 21 months apart is the best kind of birth control out there. Am I right?!
No, but seriously, I recently attended a gorgeous baby shower honoring a first-time mama-to-be expecting a baby boy in August. The decor was stunning... lightwash minty greens, greys, and whites.. I love that all the things were gender neutral even though she's having a boy. And, it reminded me how much I love planning events!
The last party I planned was my little lion's 1st birthday and baptism celebration. I had so much fun planning it and seeing it all come together, and thinking back... the most exciting part of it all was the start. The beginning sets the tone and it all starts with the perfect invitation!
Lots of people are turning to digital invitations nowadays, but not me. I love receiving mail, as long as it's not bills! There's something so exciting about receiving an envelope in the mail from a loved one knowing there's a special announcement or message inside. It elevates the message in my mind, makes it more meaningful. I love to spread the joy by using printed stationery for all of my special ocassions and announcements.

I was recently introduced to Basic Invite and I'm loving their products! Take a look:
As I was playing around with the customization options on their website, I learned some cool things about Basic Invite I want to share with you:
They offer custom samples so you can see and feel the invitation or card in person before committing to it... yes!
They're as colorful with their envelopes (all peel and seal for quick + secure close) as they are with their invites-- you can choose from 40 different envelope colors! Love!
They offer an address capturing service that allows customers to store their friends and families' addresses straight from social media, AND address printing at no cost on all Christmas card orders. So easy!
Foil cards are available in gold, silver, and rose gold, and you can choose flat or raised foil. Fancy!
I can't wait to plan my next event! Until then... I got some gorgeous office stationery to hold me over. I'm obsessed with the watercolor style!
And right now, Basic Invite is so kindly offering Land of Mom readers 15% off with coupon code: 15FF51 . So if you have any special events coming up or announcements you want to make, check them out!
