My Mix & Match Faves for Cooler Weather
The air will be getting a little crisper here in LA and I was just thinking about how I’ll finally be able to swap out my summer clothes for some cooler weather clothes. I talked about some of my must haves as I transitioned to fall and figured what a perfect time to share what I’m filling my closet with for the cooler fall and winter weather.
As a busy mama of two energetic boys, when choosing my fits, comfort is my first priority with style as a close second. I’ve put together 3 stylish mama looks that are perfect for moms on the go, but also work for dinner with girlfriends or a casual date night. A huge win with all of these looks is the that you can mix and match pieces from each. Anyone else love multi-purposing things? I know I do!

Here’s a sneak peek into my closet
This sweater is a must-have for your closet. It’s so cozy! White is one of my favorite colors to wear… it just looks super clean and polished and pairs with any other color perfectly. I also love that you can easily dress this sweater up or down. Wear it with your favorite distressed denim and sneakers for a casual look, and dress it up with a back denim skirt and patent booties for a night out on the town.
And I’m in love with these pants because they’re a super comfortable and you can just slip them on before you run out of the house. You don’t have to worry about them being tight and restrictive because they have a stretchy high waist which is perfect for chasing around your littles.
Both of these pieces are from Zara, one of my go-to boutiques for quality clothing at reasonable prices.
I paired my pants with these super comfy rain boots from Madewell… they are my current obsession! Every mama needs a pair of these boots! I've been wearing them to all of the pumpkin patches and play dates since I got em. And even though it's been sunny and hot in LA they still look good with a pair of denim shorts and a sleek white tee. But, I can't wait to wear them when it actually rains here.

I’m really loving this skirt that also comes as a white dress which I rocked a bunch this summer. The little slit in the skirt makes it more fun, but still classy in my opinion. It’s a super comfortable, stretchy linen material and again, it can easily be dressed up or down. I love wearing pieces that I can rock for a lunch meeting during the day, and then dress up for a dinner date later.
Last but not least, my Chanel bag is my accessory of choice here. It’s such a timeless piece, and the nude gives the all black look a nice pop of color… tame but a pop nonetheless!

This is my favorite outfit of the bunch because it’s SO ME and most likely what you’d catch me in! It’s also still pretty hot in LA and I think this outfit is the most appropriate for the weather here currently.
I got the pants at Zara and they are so fun and different from anything else in my closet. They’re super loose, baggy, and high waist… I’ve been calling them my hammertime pants haha. My top is a current fave V neck linen wrap top from Urban Outfitters. And, I'm holding my Ray Bans shades, which are my everyday sunnies.
Now let’s talk about this beautiful necklace I’m wearing! It’s the MAMA charm necklace by Baby Gold. It’s my favorite piece of fashion jewelry right now. I actually hate wearing jewelry… you’ll usually only see me wearing my engagement and weddings plus my diamond stud earrings (pictured). But when I incorporate anything else, it has to be dainty, simple and classic. It’s why I’m loving wearing this necklace! Learn a little bit more Baby Gold below.

I feel like everything in my closet is cotton and linen, and I’m not mad about it… it’s perfect for mamas like me who opt for comfort and style. What I also love about these materials is that I can mix and match and dress up and down easily… with these 3 looks in particular, I can rock the blue flowy pants with the white sweater OR I wear the wrap top with the black linen skirt for a comfortable all linen look.

I’m lovin’ Baby Gold!
Mamas, especially with daughters, you need to check out Baby Gold. Their jewelry is the perfect accent for any style. Here’s a little about their story… I just love it!
Helen Ashikian of Baby Gold was born and raised in LA to a family of artisans and jewelers. In 2010 she married her husband Michael, who is a third generation jeweler. He also owns one of the largest manufacturing houses in LA. Helen worked with him for many years in private label fine jewelry production.
When their first daughter was born Helen continued to work long hours and bring her baby girl along. Olivia Eva grew to love gold and Helen’s clients nicknamed her “Baby Gold”. Three years later their second daughter Sienna Marie was born and she loved jewelry at a young age as well. Helen realized that there was a void in the market for well-curated quality children’s jewelry… thus Baby Gold was born.
Baby Gold is everything Helen looked for herself as a mom and couldn’t find in jewelry. She created Baby Gold with the intention of sharing the value of a beautiful piece of jewelry with her little ones and knows millennial moms would love to do the same. Their designs are timeless and made to last a lifetime.
Baby Gold’s goal is to share the value of fine jewelry with children as they are growing up, not when they are older. Their jewelry is meant to be worn and appreciated every day.
Baby Gold has so many cute things and all of their products are 14k gold. Even though I don’t have daughters to purchase jewelry for, I just I love their MAMA charm necklace. I checked out their website and they have so much more for women and girls such as rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and charms. If you have a daughter, you definitely have to check them out!
